Insurance
Great news! I am accepting most insurances through Access Health Louisiana (AHL). But only through AHL, not in private practice.
If you have mental health coverage through your insurance carrier, the first thing you should do is call them. Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand your coverage. Some helpful questions you can ask them:
What are my mental health benefits?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
Is approval, or a referral required from my primary care physician?

Reduced Fee
If you do not have insurance, I do offer a reduced fee, or sliding-scale fee, on a limited basis. Must be approved in advance of your session. Subject to change with notice.
Payment
Cash app, Venmo, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment, at time of service. Though, there may be a small service fee for credit cards. No checks!
Cancellation Policy
Please do your best to give Dr. Chandler 24-hours notice if you are going to miss your appointment.
Text is best: 504-708-4933. Because, if you are a "no-show" for your scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session as your insurance will not cover a missed session.
